All companies need to understand the consumption of their electrical system, its components, or specific loads. In the absence of a fixed network of energy analyzers, and with greater flexibility than one, measurements can be performed with a portable energy analyzer.
This instrument must be able to highlight any harmonic distortions, which are now common in modern electrical systems, and possibly examine the start-up phase of electric motors.
Energy Explorer is a portable energy analyzer, the result of Elcontrol Energy Net’s experience in measuring electricity consumption. It can break down consumption into multiple hourly tariffs and synchronize with the utility’s meter to detect tariff changes.
It is equipped with alarms and pulse outputs.
Thanks to its extremely fast sampling rate, it can reconstruct the start-up curve of an electric motor.
It performs harmonic analysis of voltage and current up to the 31st order.
It can display the minimum, maximum, and average value for each RMS measurement.

The MN13 current clamp can be used on all
